El objetivo del Diagrama de Patrones Gramaticales es formar un conocimiento básico de oraciones simples, especialmente a los alumnos que el español no es su lengua materna. La actividad ofrece al alumno la oportunidad de practicar el lenguaje en un entorno agradable que facilita el aprendizaje. En este video, la maestra guía a una clase de doble-inmersión inglés/español de 4º y 5º grado en como crear el Diagrama de Patrones Gramaticales y finalmente cantarán el contenido creado.
The objective of the Sentence Patterning Chart is to build basic understanding of sentence syntax, particularly among language learners. The activity provides the opportunity to practice oral language with a low affective filter in a fun, engaging way. In this video, the teacher leads a combination class of 4th and 5th grade two-way language immersion students in creating and singing the Sentence Patterning Chart in Spanish.

Humanity values creativity. We thrive upon both being creative and enjoying what others have created. That includes the arts, of course, but also the written word. We consume writing for many purposes, including learning new skills and topics, and for the pure pleasure of reading someone else’s thoughts or stories. Writing is all around us; on billboards and on social media, at the grocery store and in restaurants, and in the texts we utilize in schools. Writing, by definition, is a creative process. We are creating something when we write; a tool for communicating to others what we have learned, what our thoughts and feelings are, our stories, our experiences, and more.
