La Poesía y Los Cantos (En Español)

La poesía y los cantos ofrecen al alumno excelentes oportunidades de practicar el lenguaje en un entorno agradable que facilita el aprendizaje.

En el segundo video, la maestra modela un canto al ritmo de una cadencia militar con una clase de doble-inmersión inglés/español de tercer grado. La maestra usa este canto para apoyar una serie de lecciones de ciencias sociales acerca de los americanos famosos al nivel nacional y local que han tomado riesgos para asegurar la libertad de todos.

Poetry provides the opportunity to practice oral language with a low affective filter in a fun, engaging way.

In the second video, the teacher models a “Cadence” (“Cadencía”) chant in Spanish with a class of third grade two-way language immersion students. The teacher uses the chant to support a unit on famous national and local Americans who took risks to secure freedoms.
